Christmas belly. It happens. It happened. It's time to get my body feeling right.
There has been so much sugar in my life this holiday season, and I'm so ready to end the saccharin madness.
Therefore, our first assignment for Detox: Life is focusing on fresh foods for the month. Please remember that I'm not a nutritionist or a doctor, so please listen to your body and do what's right for you.
I'll be eating:
I won't be eating:
Dairy (including cheese, Lord help me!)
Bread, pasta, tortillas, or cereal
Anything pre-processed such as granola bars, chips, etc
Of all these I think it will be the most difficult to stay away from sugar and cheese. But the point here is not deprivation, but to cleanse my body, blood, and organs so that I can get myself feeling as clean and fresh as possible. This is supposed to be enjoyable! Who's with me?
